If anyones interested I've put some of my 1/43 and 1/18 collection on ebay. I'm struggling for space at the moment so I've decided to concentrate solely on Ferrari / Schumacher models, so unfortunately all others have to go. Here's the link.

1/18 Hot Wheels Elite Schumacher F2001 Photos

From the photos of this prototype model Mattel seem to have made a number of improvements over their normal F2001 release. There looks to be improved detail in a number of areas -
* Front wing & front wing end fences.
* Thinner material used for aerials / barge boards
* Improved detail on camera mounts
* Improved detail on the wheel rims.
However there is one flaw - The winglet in front of the rear wheels is wrong. These look as if they are from the F2002 car - the winglets on F2001 shold be connected to car at 2 points. Lets hope the final released model has this fault corrected.

The car has a RRP of £89.99 in the UK and is limited to 5555pcs. Due June 2008

Also, the Minichamps Team Edition 1/18 McLaren MP4/22 of Fernando Alonso has been released. Here's a photo from eBay to prove it. Hamilton version expected min March. Regular Minichamps 1/18 McLarens penciled in for an April release.

The 2008 Ferrari 1/18s have been announced from Hot Wheels. The 1/18's have an unbelievable price tag of £54.99 in the UK!
