* Thinner material used for aerials / barge boards
* Improved detail on camera mounts
* Improved detail on the wheel rims.
However there is one flaw - The winglet in front of the rear wheels is wrong. These look as if they are from the F2002 car - the winglets on F2001 shold be connected to car at 2 points. Lets hope the final released model has this fault corrected.
The car has a RRP of £89.99 in the UK and is limited to 5555pcs. Due June 2008

Also, the Minichamps Team Edition 1/18 McLaren MP4/22 of Fernando Alonso has been released. Here's a photo from eBay to prove it. Hamilton version expected min March. Regular Minichamps 1/18 McLarens penciled in for an April release.

I dunno, maybe its me but it looks a little "plasticy" for my liking. As much as I want the 1/18 Schumacher WC Ferraris at that price I wont part with the cash unless I saw them in person. Been burned by Mattel one too many times with their F1 models.
On the other hand the Alonso Minichamps model looks great, looking forward to the Hamilton version the most though.
